Lexis-Nexis’s statistical tables search is by far the worst search engine I have ever used.

If I search for, say, “foo bar”, it returns “Your search returned more than 1000 results, please narrow your search”.

So, if I search for “foo bar baz” where “baz” is anything I think will narrow the search, as a wild shot in the dark, it invariably returns “Your search returns 0 results.”

There’s no way to browse through anything in between. Very frustrating.
