in which I turn on my own
This has to be the damn dumbest thing I’ve ever read. I didn’t know people still used “reputhuglican” as an actual word. Actually, I didn’t know they ever did.

Bridges only collapse because the wrong people are in government. That’s the only reason anything bad happens.
dude, it’s egalia. it’s always dumb.

She’s nowhere near dumb, but does have an interest in driving traffic to her site. Her audience is vehemently anti-Bush, and there is no shortage of those people. She is merely catering to her market.

Bullshit. I’m her market and I don’t agree with her.
I’m as vehemently anti-Bush as Egalia, as is what one might laughingly call my “audience” (if four readers qualifies). I happen to think blaming Bush for a bridge collapse is as stupid as the right-wing extremists who blame it on liberals, gays, blacks, Asians, etc. And I posted that on my blog today.
It’s time to get over this idea that there’s some kind of liberal group-think. There’s not.
Sorry Mack .. struck a nerve …
I’m liberal and am Anti-Bush as well, Southern Beale. But I really despise the words Rethuglican or Dimmocrat.
It just doesn’t seem to me that it moves anyone forward. With that said, I had a come to a Jesus/Buddha moment about eight months ago realizing that a dialogue does not start with an insult and that I was part of the problem.
Just sharing. But I do agree with Mack that Egalia does cater to her readers and believes this is what they want.
I just don’t dig it.
