on hobbs
I am not going to waste too much time on this, because at the end of the day, I don't care too much. But I just want to note that I agree with Roger on the Bill Hobbs/Spragens/Cartoon thing:
But, really, my major beef is that Spragens--and, I guess, by extension, the Scene used the tremendous resources at their disposal to fire a bazooka at a housefly, and may have caused undue anguish to a regular Joe, his family and their loved ones in their wake.
Firing a "bazooka at a housefly" is precisely the right phrase for what has taken place. As anyone can tell you, one of the more amusing things about Bill Hobbs is his endless supply of exaggerated self-importance. Maybe Spragens bought it, I don't know.
Chris --
This may mark the first tiime you and I have agreed on anything. Are we doomed?
Roger
I don't know, but I'm building a stable for the four horsemen just in case.
