I am pretty much in love with Stephen Chow.
Amanda had the great wisdom and foresight to buy Kung Fu Hustle on DVD, and so we watched it again tonight.
I am going to just throw this out here: Best Kung-Fu Movie Ever.
Now, I know there are purists out there that will argue that maybe this movie isn’t pure kung-fu and is thus ineligible, and that’s fine, but I think we’d at least agree that it took the art to the next level and made it even awesomer.
That said, I liked Shaolin Soccer even better — which, I guess, makes it the top dog. I need to buy this one as well.
I got halfway through your post, and was about to say, “It’s no Shaolin Soccer.” But I still like it. Also, if you can find it, I recommend God of Cookery, or whatever it’s called.
I like Kung Fu Hustle better. I love the landlady. LOVE her.

Gung Fu, you will truly enjoy KoB!!
