Many are equating the recent attacks on the World Trade Center to an act of war the magnitude of which we have not seen since Pearl Harbor.
They believe that a sleeping giant has again been awakened.
Maybe so.
However, I would remind those calling for immediate and vengeful war that sleeping giants wake up disoriented and drowsy.
I would also remind those making war with that giant that sleeping giants wake up cranky and bad-tempered.
